Panchkarma Therapy

Detox. Rejuvenate. Restore Balance.

In Ayurveda, Prakriti defines your unique physical, mental, and emotional constitution. Through Prakriti Parikshan, we help you understand the balance of your internal energies — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — offering insights that form the foundation for personalized healing and long-term wellness.

What is Panchakarma?

समदोष: समाग्निश्च समधातु मलक्रिया:। प्रसन्नात्मेन्द्रियमना: स्वस्थ इत्यभिधीयते।

Panchakarma translates to “five actions,” referring to its five core therapies: Vamana (therapeutic vomiting), Virechana (purgation), Basti (medicated enema), Nasya (nasal cleansing), and Raktamokshana (bloodletting). Each therapy targets specific toxins and organs, aiming to cleanse the body at a deep level and restore the natural flow of energy and vitality.

This ancient Ayurvedic process isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s carefully customized. A trained Ayurvedic doctor will assess your constitution (Prakriti), current imbalances (Vikriti), and lifestyle factors before recommending any treatment. Properly done, Panchakarma can rejuvenate the body, strengthen immunity, and support long-term wellness.

Is Panchakarma safe for everyone?

Yes. Panchakarma is a personalized therapy, so it is adjusted to suit your age, body constitution (Prakriti), current health status, and specific needs. A certified Ayurvedic doctor will assess you before starting any procedure to ensure it’s safe and suitable for you.

How long does the Panchakarma treatment take?

It depends. The duration can vary from 7 to 21 days based on your health condition, the type of therapy recommended, and how your body responds. A minimum of 7 days is generally advised for proper detox and rejuvenation.

Will I feel weak or tired during Panchakarma?

You might. Some mild fatigue or emotional sensitivity is normal during the cleansing process as toxins are released. However, these are temporary and part of the healing. Most people feel lighter, clearer, and more energized afterward.

Can Panchakarma help with stress or anxiety?

Absolutely. Panchakarma doesn’t just detox the body; it also balances the nervous system. Treatments like Shirodhara, Nasya, and Abhyanga are known to calm the mind, reduce cortisol levels, and improve sleep and mood.

Is Panchakarma only for physical health?

Not at all. Panchakarma is a holistic healing system. It addresses physical, mental, and emotional imbalances. It’s often used to enhance immunity, increase energy levels, improve digestion, sharpen mental clarity, and even support spiritual growth.

Do I need to follow any restrictions after Panchakarma is over?

Yes, gently. After Panchakarma, your body is more receptive and delicate. Your Ayurvedic doctor will give you a post-treatment plan that includes diet, herbal support, and lifestyle practices to maintain the benefits and prevent relap
